Vintage 1960's peach cameo earrings. These pretty  earrings feature an image of a ladies face. Rather than being carved this piece would have been a plastic mould.

Cameo jewellery became very popular in the Victorian era often they would show a portrait. In the early 19th century cameos features Roman women. Victorian women on the Grand Tour brought home these pieces from places such as Italy. Cameo jewellery has continued to be a popular style.

The earrings measure 2.1cm / 0.8" in height and 1.7cm / 0.6" in length.

CONDITION

The earrings are in excellent vintage condition.
